A beach holiday with your own vehicle is one of the greatest South African Holidays. We have car hire branches at all the major resort locations. South Africa has some of the best beaches in the world, with endless stretches of golden sands. The overall conditions of the beaches for the greater part of the year are safe for swimming, but there can be dangerous undertows and side washes. Lifeguards patrol the popular resort beaches and extend this service to other beaches local holidays and weekends. It is not advisable to swim outside daylight hours. Cape Town and the entire Western Cape have glorious white sanded beaches, but the water is particularly cold all year round on the western beaches and slightly warmer on the eastern beaches. The Cape can be a windy destination during summer. The sea is warmer along the Garden Route, with the finest swimming beach around Plettenberg Bay. Durban and the resorts to the north of KwaZulu Natal, the water is ideal for swimming and family holidays. | |
