Polokwane is the capital of the Limpopo Province. It lies midway between Gauteng and Zimbabwean border on the N1 freeway. The upgraded airport forms the main air link in the province. A vehicle rental branch is based at the airport for ease of hiring cars.
The city holds a fortunate position in its proximity as a major centre near the neighbouring countries of Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Swaziland. It is a strategically positioned, fully equipped destination within a convenient distance from the Kruger National Park and the scenic Magoesbaskloof.
Polokwane offers excellent accommodation, fine weather and a good base to discover the central Limpopo Province.
